Just thought I'd stop by right quick to introduce myself. My last relaxer was in June '09 and I transitioned with wigs until May 2011 when I had my hair two-strand twisted in preparation for locs.

I wore it this way for 7 months before deciding locs weren't for me (much to my husband's delight). Since then, I have been trying to learn my hair and grow it. Right now, it's longer than it has ever been, but my goal is mid-back.

My hair texture at best is 4b/4c and low porosity. My biggest hassle right now is MOISTURE. Nothing I'm doing is working and it's difficult to stay positive.

I guess that's enough for now. Looking forward to interacting with everyone.
