New in Colorado

Hello everyone,
I have just registered but have been looking at the site for a while. I am a 3a with 2b underneath, I have been CG since the beggining of February and am loving the results so far.....I guess you could say I am transitioning parts of my hair after years of straightening and blow drying This site has been awesome and I have recommended it to several of my curly buddies My only question so far is if any co curlies know of a good stylist in northeastern co. I really don't want to drive into denver if I can help it lol

Rytoka, have you found a stylist? I tried a Ouidad stylist in Aurora, but it was very expensive and I did not like the way the Ouidad products felt on my hair. I know I can use salon finder, but I'd prefer a "personal" recommendation.

This is true- he gave me a cut that suites MY 3A curls perfectly. They lay so much nicer now and I am able to achieve 2nd and even great third day hair. I would recommend him greatly- well worth the money. I have tried other curl salons in the Springs and Ivan is the best!

Ooh, am going to have to see if I can get an appointment. I am guessing they use CG products? I haven't been to Colorado Springs in years; some friends keep asking us to come down and visit, but life gets in the way

I did find a good one. She had years of experience cutting curly and being one herself helped too. She did cut me wet but only because I have so much hair it would have taken hours for the first one. I think my next one will be dry since most of the damage is gone now. Her name is Michelle out of the sola salon in Lakewood. Wadsworth and I 76. Pm me and I can give you the number if your interested.

I saw him on anither website and I wish I had tried him instead of going to the spa at my gym. Never again. While they were very nice and wanted to help, the receptionist seemed to believe they knew more about curly hair than they really did. The stylist even told me when we were done she didn't know what to do with curly hair other than straighten it. She was very interested in this website,as she is curly too. Lol. I will look up Ivan also!
