Intro: 2C Fine Haired Gal
Heya. I'm new to the forums. My hair has all the traits of 2C (especially the ringlets on top/straight or minimal wave underneath!), but it's pretty fine and extremely dense.
I got hooked on Chagrin Valley shampoo bars after a recent round of meds that left me sensitive to *everything* I was using for hair/body care. Their soaps made my skin and hair look so good that I'm now on-board a totally "chem free" routine. So I'm here to get help with that!
I'm still getting the hang of my hair, growing it out from years of having a pixie cut, and I clearly don't quite "get" how to get the right hair cut, etc. I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions, but mainly right now I'm just trying to solve the ringlets on top/nearly straight below problem. My last stylist gave me tons of little layers, and that clearly isn't the answer!
I sort of blog
