New Curly Here! (with pic and intro!)

Hello everyone! I have been reading on the forums for a little (stalking) and finally decided to join. :hello2: I have an interesting curly story. I was born with really curly hair (full head!), but as I got older, my hair became straight. I had super straight hair up until the age of 9 when I had to go into the hospital for a ruptured appendix. After the anesthesia, my hair became curly again! I struggled with my new curls and mostly wound up with frizz, so I just straightened it all the time. I am now trying to give up on the flat iron, and let my curls be free! My hair isn't as curly as it used to be because of all the flat iron and blow drying, but I'm hoping it will bounce back!

Today was my first day of (and last day) of using a sulfate shampoo and I'm starting the CG method!

Attached is a pic of my hair, I believe that I'm about a 2C? :confused5:

Thank you! :blob7:

I made my first "curly cut" for 2 weeks from now! I can't wait. I'm hoping this will help with the "triangle affect" that I feel like my hair is doing as it's getting longer.
