Hello everyone,
My sister and I are going natural together. However, she is a few months ahead of me and she wanted me to post her picture. Do u know what her hair type is?

It's way too soon to figure out which curl type she has. Since the relaxed ends are weighing the hair down, it makes it hard to figure out. Also, the curl pattern might change once her hair grows longer. You'll just have to wait and be patient. Congrats on choosing to go natural!

Enjoy this journey! I think, more importantly, the hair properties are what is going to help with becoming natural. livecurlylivefree.com (sorry I don't know how to post the link) has a great description of: porosity, texture, density, and elasticity. From there, you can figure out what ingredients your hair likes: such as protein, glycerin, different oils, etc. Also, you can configure if you do better with low-pooing, shampooing with a mild surfactant, or just co-washing.
High Porosity, Fine, Thin Density, Low Elasticity
Co-wash, leave in, and gel: Alba botanica coconut cond., ogx mousse, &/or super wet look gel.

Hi everyone!

My name is Jazmin and I have been natural since 2008. I'm somewhat unsure of my curl pattern. My hair is curly in some areas and wavy in other areas. I have loose curls in the front of my head, and the back range from bouncy ringlets to tight corkscrews. I think I'm a 3b/3c. Help please!

Thanks anissafersure! I have had long hair my entire life, and last month, I decided that it was time for a change. Now I want to cut it even shorter, but I'm not sure if my hair will be 3b/3c anymore.
