Default Newbie. 15 y/o trying to transition ?

Hey guys . My names Andreia and I'm 15. My last perm was Feb. 18 . I've had a permed since i was about 6. I'm pretty sure that my natural curl pattern is 3c. At least that's how it was. I have 1.5 to 2 inches of new growth. I go to a dominican hair salon once every 3 weeks. They wash my hair roller set it put me under the dryer. And when its dry I ask them to blow my roots. As of today they've been telling me that I need a perm.
I don't really know what to do now. Theres a lot of salons around where i live but going to a new one would be such a bother. And by the way my hair is halfway down my back.
Any tips on what I should do ?

Welcome! Do you need to go to a salon so often? What would be so bothersome about trying a new salon in your area, wouldn't that be fun? Plenty of girls do their own hair, check out YouTube.

I would say "I don't NEED a perm, I have beautiful naturally curly hair and naturally healthy skin and I want to take better care of both."

Welcome!
Transitioning is the hardest part because you have to deal with two different hair textures. I would do my hair in protective style. In my opinion their is no need to keep going to the salon. SOME beauticians are uneducated when it comes to natural hair or new growth. In their minds EVERYONE'S hair should be the same

Maybe it would be fun lol. I've already told the ladies that I'm not perming my hair anymore. I would get braids but idk what style. I don't want to look too childish lol
