Hello, my name is Natalia. I shaved my head almost 7 months ago due to damage and I wanted to start fresh. I had bleach and heat damage. Now that my hair is long enough and healthy it's beggining to curl again. When I was younger and before the damage my curl pattern used to be around 3a to 3c now I think it's 3a and 3b in the bottom because the curl seems tighter in the bottom and looser on top!
I want to do whatever I can to help my curl pattern! I have no idea what products are good or bad. Right now I'm using the suave sleek shampoo and the twisted sista curl conditioner. I dry my hair with a 100% cotton shirt and then I add the organix Moroccan sea salt spray, and cantu shea leave in conditioner.
I've also bought the African pride bouncy curl pudding as well as the eco styler argan gel, twisted sista 30 second curl enhancer and curl activator.
I'm not sure what is good and bad for my hair, but I'm excited for my journey and being able to talk to you guys! I am from Puerto Rican decent. Thank you guys in advance!!!!

You will love the curly girl method & the deva cut. Both have really transformed my curls.
Hi I'm Lauren-Gabrielle! Just about a month ago I had my first big chop (unwillingly) due to heat damage on my 3B hair! So to track my progress, communicate and share products with others of the same situation I made a blog! I wondering if any of you have blogs?

Mine is: hautecurls.blogspot.com

P.S any tips/tricks to speed up hair growth?
You can try Jamaican black castor oil & get your hair trimmed regularly.

I'd recommend getting a copy of Lorraine Massey's book Curly Girl :The Handbook. It completely changed how I understand and take care of my hair, and all for the better!
