Default Newbie from Dallas

I have been lurking here on and off for a long time. I am currently trying to go curly. I am african american and I have been relaxer free for almost 8 years, but unfortunately, I am a slave to the ceramic hot iron or the pony tail, and I am coming here to try some products that will work great on my hair, as well as new hairstyles. Currently my hair is in the end run of a ceramic hot iron so it looks a little shorter than if freshly straightened. I have I think 3c hair, per the examples used in the hair type descriptions on the site. I hope to get some great ideas on styles and hair growth.[/url]

Default Devacurl

OK I just did my first attempt at a hair care routine. I know I needs lots and lots of conditioner because my hair is so dry, and my hair also needs a really good washing so I used:

The devacare nopoo shampoo
The one conditioner
Then the leave in conditioner
The devacare arcangell
Kinky curly curling custard
then back to devacare with the set it free.

I have pictures of wet hair. I am awaiting the results of the dry hair

Wish me luck!!!!
