Quirky yogini, Add my thanks to everyone else's. Needed to find out about the pixie curl method and there it is!
How to request this be made a sticky? It's great! Thank you!

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
Quirky this is the best thread ever!

Every time I see someone who needs help I direct them to this wonderful thread!!

I agree this should be a sticky!
Turtles: omg please don't put that in your moo moo

Nej: too late... moo moo has been infiltrated.
Thanks a TON for this info! Since it's not a sticky, I'm going to post so I can always find it in my 'subscribed' threads.
THANKS!
Wow! I'm surprised people still remember this post! I get a little annoyed when I still see the same questions over and over when almost all the answers can be found in one of the links here. *sigh* Oh well! I'm glad a few of you have found this to be helpful!

This post is perfect.....there was a post containing a long list of natural hair care products ranging from conditioners, shampoos, gels, etc. I've searched and searched until my poor fingers gave up in pain.

Does anyone remember what post that was and perhaps be able to provide the link? It was a post on the forum which appeared to be a typed out list that "compiled" various all natural/organic hair care products.

Can we add the link to that previous post on here as well so newbies can find list of natural/organic hair care products.

http://healthycurls.awardspace.com/free.html She posted it in this same thread though, so probably not but, sometimes things get lost when you get a few posts to a thread.

And anyone can post anything they've found helpful here! It certainly isn't just me doing it! I want to learn new useful things too! I actually stopped posting on this thread because I felt kind of silly just updating my own thread all the time. It's good to know a few people still come across it.
I have 3c hair that I haven't straightened in over 5 years. It's just past shoulder length when dry, and almost waist length when pulled straight.

Products:
9/02/08 Went CG
05/12/09 Still CG. Cowashing with VO5 Lavender Luster. I then condition with Giovanni Smooth as Silk. Styling with VO5 Lavender Luster conditioner with my wide-toothed comb.

This thread was actually one of the first ones I read when I found this site. This is the thread that introduced me to CG. Thanks!
Currently experimenting with
CoWash: VO5 Vanilla Mint Tea, VO5 Kiwi Lime Squeeze and VO5 Free Me Freesia
Gels/Creams: FOTE, LA Looks, LOOB
It is hard being a newbie here. You know whatever you post has been asked or said before, but, there is so much information that it is hard to read through it all and retain everything!

I love this link and hope that it hasn't already been added here (I haven't followed all the links in this thread yet)

Just remember that there is a search function. If you don't get what you are looking for the first time, try rewording it or narrowing the search down. Sometimes you do find something that isn't mentioned yet, so all hope isn't lost yet! And welcome to the boards!

Thank you so much for this thread! I never understood how to go CG other than don't brush your hair (which I already knew) and don't use silicone shampoo's. I've looked at lots of the links, and i'm totally ready to go CG. THANK YOU THANK YOU! *BUMP*
This is amazing! Finally confirmed I'm overconditioned! I thought it wasn't possible because I've only ben co-washing everyday for a week, but then, I guess my hair was never that dry (I took good care of it pre-CG).

Wow, I've been on here all the time for past 2-3 months, yet I just now happened on this - what a wonderful idea - SO helpful!

It and others like it need to be in their own reference forum or something - not lost in "General Discussion About Curly Hair"!

Thanks to all of you who bumped it back to the top the past few days!
