Thanks a TON for this info! Since it's not a sticky, I'm going to post so I can always find it in my 'subscribed' threads.
THANKS!

Wow! I'm surprised people still remember this post! I get a little annoyed when I still see the same questions over and over when almost all the answers can be found in one of the links here. *sigh* Oh well! I'm glad a few of you have found this to be helpful!
Hmm. Could it be this link from Jillipoo?
http://healthycurls.awardspace.com/free.html She posted it in this same thread though, so probably not but, sometimes things get lost when you get a few posts to a thread.
And anyone can post anything they've found helpful here! It certainly isn't just me doing it! I want to learn new useful things too! I actually stopped posting on this thread because I felt kind of silly just updating my own thread all the time. It's good to know a few people still come across it.

This thread was actually one of the first ones I read when I found this site. This is the thread that introduced me to CG. Thanks!

It is hard being a newbie here. You know whatever you post has been asked or said before, but, there is so much information that it is hard to read through it all and retain everything!
I love this link and hope that it hasn't already been added here (I haven't followed all the links in this thread yet)

Oh wow! That's awesome! Yay! *joins you in the wave*
Nope! That looks to be a new one! Thanks! And hey, I know how it is to be a newbie. I still might be considered one...
Just remember that there is a search function. If you don't get what you are looking for the first time, try rewording it or narrowing the search down. Sometimes you do find something that isn't mentioned yet, so all hope isn't lost yet! And welcome to the boards!

This is a great post about the seasonal changes and what that means for your hair. Very informative and useful during this time of year for many curlies!

Thank you so much for this thread! I never understood how to go CG other than don't brush your hair (which I already knew) and don't use silicone shampoo's. I've looked at lots of the links, and i'm totally ready to go CG. THANK YOU THANK YOU! *BUMP*

This is amazing! Finally confirmed I'm overconditioned! I thought it wasn't possible because I've only ben co-washing everyday for a week, but then, I guess my hair was never that dry (I took good care of it pre-CG).

No problem! I'm so glad that it's helping people! I still return to it when I forget something or am trying to link someone to info, but it's nice to see that others find it useful too!
I'm glad it has helped you! I'm so jealous of your overconditioning! I know it's silly, but I hope I am able to do that one day.

Needs to be in its own forum!
Wow, I've been on here all the time for past 2-3 months, yet I just now happened on this - what a wonderful idea - SO helpful!
It and others like it need to be in their own reference forum or something - not lost in "General Discussion About Curly Hair"!
Thanks to all of you who bumped it back to the top the past few days!

ditto! great reading in these threads, if you can find them; putting them all in one spot was a fantastic idea!
