I love my curls! I hate my frizz!

I recently stumbled upon your WONDERFUL website. I'm a 3B. I just heard/read about not shampooing your hair -- rinsing it and condition it really well -- and using minimal products. But I have seen products on the site (curly girl, jessicurl, Aveda, etc) ... has anyone used any of these? and which (in your opinion) is really good! I am brand new to the site, I have had this curly red hair all my life ... learned to love my curls about 20 years ago ... but still fighting the frizz! I live in the St. Louis area - so if anyone knows of a place that sells these products, and/or a good salon, please let me know! Thanks!
Welcome to NC!

I'm a 3B/3C with some 3A curls (yep all 3!) I use Carol's daughters products because it just does some great stuff for me

I've never tried any of the products you listed but they do have rave reviews on this site (check out this link for product reviews)

As for your frizz problem here is the link to a thread about people's favorite frizz busters

HTH!

Hello and welcome!

Like SiB I have a mix of curl types. I'm CG so Aveda is now out for me although I liked it pre-CG.

The 3B forum will most likely help you figure out what products will help most with your hair.

I think I'm a 3B -- long ringlets on the outside and a frizzy mess underneath and behind my ears...
