Not new, but long absent...

Hi all! I joined here a long time ago (2003, I think), posted a bit but eventually drifted off. As a child, I had curly hair, but during my teen years I discovered the blow drier and curling iron (and this would have been during the 1980's, so yes I was a teen of the big hair era! LOL) and just figured my hair was always "frizzy and uncooperative". In my 30's I read Lorraine Massey's "Curly Girl" book and re-discovered my natural waves. I've worn my hair long, short, curly, straight, and colored just about every shade that comes in a bottle, but now that I'm 40 I'm looking at going natural and letting nature take it's course. I feel like I have finished "playing" with my look and settling into an easy routine. LOL I have finally reached that place where I am more interested in what is COMFORTABLE.
We're glad you're back!
