Default I finally registered!

After a few weeks of lurking around this site and being envious of my fellow curlies for their lovely locks, I've finally registered! YAY!

I haven't much to say other than I am a frizz-head, and unsure of what my curl type is - but I reckon after I go CG for a while I will get my hair healthy =]

I'm glad I finally registered.

Welcome

I'm new here too, but I've had great success with the CG method in the past couple of weeks. Everyone is very friendly, so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Thanks!

I actually tried the poo-less method not too long ago but my hair went haywire. I'm using Yes to Carrots at the moment and LOVE it. I'm not ready to take the CG plunge, but I did straighten my hair for the first time in a month yesterday and wanted to cry.

My frizz and breakage is very sad.

It does take some adjustment, I think. The scalp gets used to producing extra oil to compensate from being stripped from strong shampoos for so long that it just keeps doing that until it gets more balanced. My scalp was a bit greasy week 1 and then no grease, but too much fluffy hair the second. Definitely takes patience

I'm not familiar with the Yes to Carrot products, but I'm glad you found something good for you.

Your hair looks 3a/3b to me, not too bad with the frizzies. It will improve with some TLC for sure.

! I've been doubting just how curly my hair is.. sounds crazy but I think it's because it seems more frizzy than curly (at least to me in the mirror!). I'm ecstatic that you think it may be 3a/3b!

Yes to Carrots is paraben free, and made in Israel with Dead Sea mud. It can be found in Walgreens in the States but Shoppers in Canada =]. Lovely stuff.

I'm already lovin' this forum!

I was thinking you look 3A/B as well, it will become more defined the longer you're a CG You have a lot of curl potential very pretty!

THANK YOU!

I used to HATE my curly hair, loathe it, straighten it daily for years until I realised that it appeared to not be growing. Hair should not be the same length after six years... you would think it would grow, but it was getting so damaged..

Poor hair.

Embrace the curls! =]
