Smile 3c Newbie

Well...I grew my hair out natural about 6 years ago. Then I went along with my friend and sis and tried a "curl relaxer" (it was supposed to turn me into a 3a or something). I came out with straight hair that began to fall out within a week. The product was called anti-curl by Rusk...imagine that. Now I'm starting from scratch. I've not relaxed my hair since Dec. and I'm happy. There are a few days that it looks too frizzy though. I wish I had something that could help to define the curls more. I like using all natural products though. I'll put a pic on soon but my texture is different. I'm black (Father is from Trinidad in the Carribean) and my mom is black and half Korean. The only thing I don't like about my curls is that I have a 3b area in the midst of all my 3c. It's on the very top center of my hair. I wish it was in the back.

Welcome! I'm sorry for the hair woes, but sounds like you're back on the right path!

You'll find tons of great info on the site; please poke around.
