As you might remember, Laurabeth, our climate is dry year-round. I think I'd have to take your winter recommendations & use them all the time. ???
I now want to try Nature's Gate Hemp Conditioner due to your suggestions.

Good question! I have observed two distinct camps on this. Some curlies feel that the heat (especially at higher elevations like in Denver, aka the Mile High City) of summer bakes products into their hair so they still do the summer routine, just with more of the liquidy leave-ins. Other curlies are able to do the winter recs year-round as you suggested.

I'm sitting at 1K & some odd below that height.
I'm going to buy the Nature's Gate Hemp Nourishing Conditioner today & give it a try tonight. I hope it's not like the Chamomile. That was thin & drying on my hair.

The NG Chamomile has a lot of protein. The Hemp is all about oils that absorb nicely/easily into the hair.

Sweetness!
I bought some & it smells similar to Aubrey's Island Spice. I loved the scent of that, but hated how it felt like it built up.
The Nature's Gate looks nice & thick.

Bumping because it's relevant for a lot of curlies this time of year.

I have read a lot here on forum about temperature changes, because after summer sucessfull CG routine - it comes autumn and my hair look the worst ever. Even if I've got volume after pineapple, even if I put gel, leave-in or something - I'm going out and my hair is limp, flat - everything.
My summer routine was:
- conditioner washing, air drying and sleeping with a little bit wet pineapple (this was the evening step)
- in the morning put a little cold water with gel into hair and they looked great
Of course I modified: sometimes oils, sometims this gel, sometimes another.
5 days ago we had temperature about 77F. Last four days it's about 50F - a little bit lower or a little bit higher.
Nothing works for me, my hair looks like I didn't comb it - less curly, less wavy, I don't know what it is on my head
Tommorow I'm going for a half-bang, because I can't stand this hair. It's strange, because humidity is high and my hair loves humidity. I don't know what to do.

Bumping is easy - you write "bump" in a post and it brings the post to the top of the list of threads.

Need some help! First Summer being CG!
OK, so I am about to buy product for this summer. I am in a wedding in June, and my BFF (the bride) was wondering what I plan to do with my hair. I'm the only natural in the group. I'm not hellbent on not straightening my hair, but if I can find something that will work with my curls that would be so great. (Plus, I'll stand out from the rest of the bridesmaids! ) Currently in my cart, I have KCKT, KCCC, and Elucence MBC. I figure this will give me plenty of time to perfect my KCCC application and/or decide if it's right for me. I plan to co-wash daily with one of the many CG V05 conditioners, simply because I workout 4-5 days a week and I hate having a sweaty head. I'm not sure what rinse out I will use. I guess I'll go with the GVP CB and AOHR for a while and see what happesn. I know that the dewpoint goes up during the summer, so I'm read that I'll need more humectants and gel vs. emollients. Any product suggestions?!?
TIA!!
