Hi Everyone!

I'm new here...I've been lurking for awhile and I went out and bought CG and have been poo-free for a month now. I'm learning as I go but so far so good!

I'm a 3A and while I really love my hair, I have too much of it. I was on accutane for awhile and I started losing a lot of hair near the end and I actually rejoiced in it!

My hair is naturally dark brown with blonde highlights, but I've been coloring out the gray since I was 23 (15 years now!). It's currently a dark brown with a red tint to it. (I'll have to get a picture into my profile). I had thermal reconditioning done a few years back and when my mom saw it, she literally cried for my curls! Strange reaction from a woman who used to refuse to swim with her kids so that her own curls wouldn't show! Anyway, having straight hair for a year was really, really cool, but to be perfectly honest, I prefer the curls!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more from everyone here!

Welcome...I am relatively new also and the people here have been very helpful. I too have a WHOLE LOTTA HAIR!! So much so that it really gets to be P.I.T.A. I have to use way more conditioner than most people and I still end up with tangles. I am currently having trouble with the frnt and sides thinning I think because the tangles cause a lot of the hair to come out and it is already thinnest in these areas. Anyway....welcome!!lol

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free,maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

Hi, GLC1968. This is a really great place to figure out your hair. I'm glad you've decided to keep it curly. Curly hair has so much more peronality than straight hair. Just my opinion of course as I am a little bias, but have fun, and welcome!
