New Here

Well, I am new here, just stoped by to introduce myself. I am 31 yrs old and have had curly hair since the day I was born. It was difficult when I was younger, but now I love it. It is really easy to deal with. I think I am one of the odd ones. No frizz, I can blow dry mine, it isn't dry, it is rather thin and will do just about anything.

Well, I am glad to be here.

Hello and welcome!

I am guessing you live in Alaska from your username?
I live in Anchorage myself.

You are lucky that you have such an easy time with your hair. I have problems with frizz, especially during the winter up here.

This is a great place with lots of really nice a nd friendly people. I have been a member for a couple of years now and have learnt so much about caring for curly hair. "Met" really nice people too.

Actually, I don't live in Alaska, I was just married there in 2004 while on vacation. My husband's family goes every other year to the Kenai to visit for the summer and we flew up there in '04 and got married and then went back in mid July of this year to visit again. We love it. He would move there in a heartbeat. I on the other hand, just like to visit.

Yes, I am lucky. The only thing that causes me problems in the weather. Rain is terrible. You wuld think humidity would be but where I live we have extreme humidity and I don't have problems very often.

Yeah, the weather can be a challenge. I have only lived in Alaska 5 years all together and I have noticed what a difference the cold winters make for my hair. I used to live in Sweden before and I never had this much frizz there.

Well, even if your are not living in Alaska; welcome!
