Hi curlies! I'm new to this site, and have been trying to mend my hair-abusing ways ever since I stumbled across this site a few weeks ago. I have rather frizzy, thick 3a/3b hair, and I'm trying to learn how to deal with it ways that don't involve a flat iron or silicones and sulfates.

Not really knowing where to start, I decided to try out a new shampoo/conditioner combo, and one product, and randomly settled on Curl Junkie' s Daily Shampoo/Condish and their coffee coco curl cream. I've been using the products for a few weeks with mixed results. I shampoo once a week, and condish three times a week, and apply the Curl Cream by scrunching it in after blotting my hair with an old t-shirt.

My hair is generally softer since the switch, but I still am not really satisfied with the results. My hair is still pretty frizzy, and doesn't really have the shine I was hoping for. I'm not sure if this is because my product doesn't have enough frizz-fighting hold, or if the conditioner is just not moisturizing enough for my hair. Maybe a combination of the two? Or is something wrong with my routine? Very confused...

So, since I REALLY don't know my way around the bajillion product lines/ types on this site, does anyone have any suggestions? Help, please!
