Bouncing in to say Hi

I think I have 2B hair. As a child, I wore my hair in waist length braids so everyone thought the waves in my hair was from the braids. At 16, I got it cut to sholder length with layers and there were waves and curls. At 32, I cut it very short thinking I would get more curls with more of the weight off it but instead my hair was straight. Right now my hair has grown back down to the middle of my back and I usually wear it in a braid. I work outdoors and can't stand to have hair in my face. I used to color it to cover up the grey but I'm tired of coloring it. So I'm letting it grow and when the grey part is long enough, I'm going to cut off the colored part and donate it to locks of love. I am looking to learn how to keep my hair healthy, how to keep it out of the way at work and how to make it look good for special occasions. I think I've said enough for now.

Welcome to the boards! We're a friendly bunch here

Have a look around and see everything that the boards and site has to offer for curlies. The going shampoo-less board discusses a method of keeping your curls very, very healthy. It's definetly worth checking out! Make yourself at home. I hope you have a great time here.

And kudos on giving to Locks of Love! That's one charity that I support 110%.
3B Corkscrew... I'm back on the boards now! Just got The Big Chop on Monday, pics coming soon.
Thanks for the welcome LadyCurlyLocks. I've been looking around and everyone seems nice. All the information is a little overwhelming but I will just have to be patient. Not my strong suit.
