Genevieve has been taming my mane for a little over a year now and I'm finally getting around to telling the curly world how amazing she is. I am a 3b and she cuts my hair dry. When I first visited her my hair was in a sorry state. She knew I wanted to keep my length, so she worked with me to slowly get rid of all the old damage without a traumatic major chop off. We are now to the point where we're just maintaining health and keeping symmetry (which is hard - she remarked last time that I have two completely different hair cuts on either side of my head) and my hair looks better than it ever has. She's always willing to offer tips for styling and maintenance and she even helped me figure out how I can wear a cute side braid, even though shrinkage makes my hair about half it's actual length. I'm not sure if she has to do something to correct it, but the salon actually moved from the Girard location. She is now at 3538 S. Pennsylvania St. Englewood, CO 80113 which is closer to the hospital.

Genevieve is fantastic! I have learned so much about my hair since going to Lather for my cuts. She is so talented and well-educated about the fickle nature of curly hair. One of the best things about the salon is that there is no pressure to go straight. Almost everywhere else I have gone, they cut my hair and want to blow it straight when complete. Genevieve will blow straight if you ask her to, but she really brings out the best in my curls and they are so much more healthy than when I started going to Lather a couple of years ago. I haven't touched a flat iron or hair blower once since I have been going to Lather!! Highly recommend!!

Genevieve takes the time to ask questions about my curls. How they behave, what sort of style I want. The cut looks good and keeps its shape for months instead of a couple weeks like I've experienced with other stylists. Genevieve rocks!

I went to Lather A Salon 11/9/10 for my first Deva cut. Genevieve is really nice, and asked me alot of questions about my hair. She was so friendly from the moment I walked in. She explained to me about how to take care of hair, how to use the products, and she never pushed me to buy any othem. I made my follow up visit for starting the new year. I went to this salon based on the reviews, and not dissapointed :D

Genevieve is a very gifted stylist!!! I just got my hair cut by her and I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!! Not only did she give me a very flattering cut but she taught me how to style my curly hair. This is the first time I've ever loved my hair and I am so glad I found her,

I live overseas and it is difficult to find somebody that can cut curly hair, so I usually wait until I am back in CO. Over the years I haven't had the best luck. This time I decided to try Genevieve. She is very friendly and down to earth. I told her that I was tired of my longer hair, she listened, and brought my curls to life!!! She definitely knows curls! She was also very accommodating as I had my 10 month old with me. I will be seeing her again before going back to Thailand and may also be bringing my toddler with very curl hair to Genevieve for her first haircut before we go back. I am very impressed and happy! Thank you Genevieve!

Folks, I hated to get my haircut!! Hated it, hated it, hated it! I, like so many of you out there, spent so much money just to be disappointed. Well, my birthday was coming up and it was time to get it done. I read several reviews for salons off NC.com, and I almost went to that uber over priced salon in downtown Denver, the one that really hypes their DEVA Curl expertise and yet has more bad reviews than good. All I can say is thank God I didn't go to that place and I found "Lather A Salon" instead! I was sold by Genevieve's reviewers. She sounded like the perfect stylist and in fact she was the perfect stylist!!!!! I have never had such a good haircut. Genevieve listened to me, she asked questions, she waked me through every step of the process, and she really taught me how to work with my unique curls to get the results I want. I never knew how to ribbon or pin my hair. Heck, I never knew their was a particular way curly hair needs to be touched/handled. Now, after my appointment with Genevieve, my hair looks better than it ever has! I feel like a movie star and the cost was so reasonable. I'm going to be going to Genevieve til the day I die. Genevieve is truly my hair angle!

Before Genevieve was my stylist, I used to spend hundreds of dollars to straighten my hair. Not to mention all the time it would take to get my hair done just to have it rain as I was leaving the salon. Genevieve set my hair free and helped me realize how beautiful my curly hair is. She is truly an expert with curly hair and has given me the confidence to wear my natural curls. I highly recommend that anyone with curly hair come in and see her.

Genevieve Rosemary now owns her own salon named Lather. The salon is located where Moka used to be. I have been going to Genevieve Rosemary for almost two years and I am very pleased with my hair. She is fabulous with us curly heads!! She takes her time at each appointment consulting and listening to your needs and wants. Genevieve is incredibly skilled with curls, and does it effortlessly. She shows me styling techniques and suggests products that work best for my hair. I highly recommend Genevieve to cut your curls!
