I visited Stephanie, and while it wasn't the worst haircut I have ever gotten, it was far from good. I felt like Stephanie was very indifferent to my requests. She did cut my hair dry but I felt like there was little method to where she was making the cuts. From start to finish the whole process took 20 minutes, including the time it took her to charge me $65. She did co-wash my hair (at my request) but it was still soaking wet when I left the salon. I feel like the whole process was very rushed and in the end my hair did not look much different leaving then when I went in there.

I've lived in Charleston for just over 20 months and tried 3 or 4 different stylists (including a Oudad trained stylist at Stuart Lawrence). Stephanie is by far the best stylist I've found here! She definitely understands curly hair and how to cut it. I have hope for my hair in the humid Charleston summer.
