Linda is the best. I've been going to her for 8+ years now whenever I'm home in South Florida. She's helped me grow out some horrible haircuts (I travel a lot so unfortunately she can't always cut my hair and I have to play Russian Roulette with hairdressers). She just has this talent with the scissors and my hair always behaves so well and looks good even air drying or messy when I have a haircut from Linda. I am shocked that the review below mentioned that she gave her crazy layers because Linda always tells me that she is against crazy layers when she has fixed the crazy layers someone else gave me. Actually it seems that all she has been doing for me over the past few years is fixing bad haircuts other people gave me, so I have decided to just stop getting haircuts unless I'm in South Florida to see Linda. She is really the only person I trust to cut my hair.

Based on the reviews here, I made an appointment for a trim with Linda. While Linda was certainly nice, and very energetic, I am less than pleased with my haircut. She cut layers into my hair, which, she said, should give me more volume on top. However, all the layers have done is separate my curls and made the back of my hair a mess. I'll admit my hair was not in the best of shape when I went in (thanks to a bad haircut a few months ago), but it is worse now. And the layers are going to take *forever* to grow out. My longest layers are a good six inches below my shoulders, while the shortest (on the back of my head) are six inches long when straight! No good. If anyone has a recommendation on a good hairstylist in South Florida, please let me know!

After almost 10 years of living in Coral Springs, imagine my surprise when I got on Naturallycurly.com and find that there is a stylist/salon that specializes in cutting curly hair literally 2 minutes away! I immediately called and made a consultation appointment. The salon receptionist who answered was wonderfully friendly and informative with my many questions,(that I admit was a pain-in-the-behind.) Linda was extremely friendly, kind, and very informative,(being that she has naturally curly hair herself!) at my appointment. This was the FIRST time I have ever left a salon and actually LOVED my hair. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED. Linda was absolutely wonderful, with her time, and knowledge. She let me know numerous products I could use-at-home to help my hair, and ways to style it. I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment there, and I am DEFINITELY going back to get my hair cut shorter even! I would recommend this salon and Linda with no reservations at all. She is absolutely wonderful,(and from Canada too, which is a TOTAL PLUS in my book!) If you are in the area, she is definitely worth the time.

My hair is extremely curly and thick. I love having curly hair, I just wanted it a little relaxed. She relaxed my hair with a product called the Brazilian Blowout, which I actually did research on before getting it and she also reshaped my hair. It is very mild and does not contain formaldehyde and doesn't have a terrible smell. It came out absolutely perfect. The first two days I left it straight, which my husband loved, but I am a curly girl at heart so I washed it which you can actually do right after the treatment and it looks just the way I want it to look. Just beautiful loose curls that I always wanted. It feels silky and even my color which is a natural red looks great. If you live in the area, or even have to travel, go and see Linda...you will not regret it. Oh she is really nice also. We spent a while together me, Linda and my husband and we had a great time talking and passing the time.

MY WORRIES ARE ALL OVER.......I was so worried about getting my curly hair cut because of all the chop jobs I have had in the past.
LINDA was so wonderful, she wanted to first know what my rounteen was, went over some great tips with me (she is not pushy at all). She TRIMMED my hair and got it looking so great, BEST of all she turned me on to this fantastic product that worked so great on my hair and kept the frizz down and kept it so nice and soft, its called CURL KEEPER and all I can say is 100% try her, get the Curl Keeper and you will be so very happy.
I left looking so great with soft bouncy curls and especially I left with a smile on my face :)

I have been going to Linda who is at Eaz Salon for several years now.
She is a curly girl herself so she has great passion for the quest of the perfect curl we all seem to have.
Everytime I see her she consults me as to how I liked the results of my last visit to her be it a cut color or highlight. She is aware of how paranoid I am about getting too much length cut off due to the "shrinkage factor" us curlies have going from wet to dry!! She has introduced me to a variety of different curly methods and products as well as trying some of the products I have brought for her to try on herself.
Over time my hair has transformed from short and frizzy to long layered beautiful healthy curls!

She has literally changed my life!!! Best sylist ever. I have curly hair and it's gray and coarse on top. She's been styling it long (to my shoulders) and she makes it look great, but I couldn't handle it anymore. So I just came back from seeing her and we cut it short, short, short. It's FANTASTIC! I was so scared :) But Linda totally understands curly hair at all lengths. I cannot use any styling products at all due to allergies and my hair is thin on top. But she worked with my hair to give me a gorgeous cut that is completely wash and wear and looks thick and healthy on top. She is the best.

FINALLY - A GREAT STYLIST WHO KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS ALL TYPES OF CURLY, FRIZZY HAIR !!! I moved from New York to South Florida - the worst place for my curly, frizzy hair. For the last 10 years, I have been searching for someone to cut, style, & color my very hard to magage hair. I tried everything & everyone recommended - including DIVA, and have been disappointed, butchered, and 'brassed' every time. This was my first time at Tangles. My hair color and cut were quite a mess. after discussing color and cut, Linda went to work. Linda and the others at the salon made me feel comfortable. It was obvious they all were friends as well as coworkers. My haircut and color turned out pretty good for the first time in many years. The cut was done so the layers flowed instead of sticking out all over the place. I left with my dull, coarse hair feeling healthy and shiny. I'll be back!

All I can say is WOW !! Linda gave me the best education on tips for my curly hair I have ever had in my life, she explained that everyone who has curly hair is so diffrent and we all need to treat our hair diffrently. It was my first time at Tangles and through the reviews online, I made an appt. for an orientation with Linda. She has such a thorough understanding of curly hair (being curly-headed herself) and she made me feel comfortable with her knowledge that I wanted her to go ahead and cut my hair that day. She did a wonderful job and I'm now enjoying my curly hair. Prior to Linda cutting my hair, I would blow-dry it out straight because I never had a hair cut for curly hair. I would highly recommend Linda. The others in the salon are very nice and make you feel comfortable. It was a good experience.
