I went to Bloom for years after following one of the owners from DePasquale. She always gave me great haircuts and was extremely talented. HOWEVER, after years of referring more than 25 friends and acquaintances to the salon, never once did either owner ever say thank you or offer even $1 off of any services. That in itself made all of us feel as though the owners never recognized their client base as the reason for their success. Clients want to receive a little something back for their loyalty, and Bloom Studio falls far short of delivering on that. The prices are extremely high and were constantly rising. I often mentioned a referral rewards program to help offset some of the costs and was always shrugged off. It was enough to send my business elsewhere. Many of my friends have left also. There is a lot of talent at the salon, but many of the employees are a bit gossipy and caddy. It's disheartening when you go into a place of business and hear employees and owners talking about their customers in a less than flattering manner. If they are talking about those customers, they are talking about everyone. It was enough to make me realize that there was a better place for me to take my business. No amount of talent in the world will make me compromise my values and integrity. I wish Bloom Studio well, but more importantly, I hope my review helps them to improve themselves and their business practices.

Stylist: Peter Tromonda

I have been going to Bloom for maybe 10 years & have never been unhappy with a service from any stylist at this salon-they all know what they are doing here, but Peter has been cutting my hair for over 6 years & just knows exactly how to cut my difficult (thick, coarse, curly frizzy) hair wonderfully. Also, I go here for color & have had had 2 BKTs, looked great both times. Nothing bad to say about Bloom except that it is maybe a bit pricey (Peter is $65 cut) but if you only cut your hair 2x a year or so, it's totally worth it. Bloom even serves complimentary snacks (cheese & crackers, wine, cappucino, tea or water)! It's an exceptional salon. Highly recommend.
