Lissa is the best. I was so lost with what to do with my crazy hair. After fighting my curls for 40+ years I got smart and decided to work with them, rather than against them. Lissa guided me very patiently and instructed me on how to care for them. I absolutely LOVE my curls and can't imagine life without them now. This is because I have been well-trained. Lissa is patient, and easy to talk to. She responds to texts asap and has no problem explaining anything. She's a fabulous teacher. She has taught me so much. I hope you give Lissa a try, and I hope you find devacurl products to be as amazing as I do. I can't believe I straightened my hair for years. My curls are gorgeous! My experience with Lissa was fabulous. I had very long hair with a ton of dead ends and frizziness, and she cut it into a "lob". She was very knowledgeable and walked me through the CG method step-by-step, explaining all the techniques that she was using. It's been a week since my cut, and my hair has never looked better; it's improving every day. I have beautiful curls for the first time in years.

Don't get me wrong, Lissa is a super nice lady and knowledgeable on curly hair. But, after being super excited to get my first diva cut since letting my hair go back to its naturally curly state for several months, I was disappointed. I had pictures and had diligently researched exactly what I was looking for. She told me that the hairstyle I wanted was something someone famous could pull off but not the every day person. So...I walked away feeling the same ole blah...when I had pumped myself up for come curly wow! That being said, still give Lissa a try. She may not have been my curly person, but she might be yours.

It's hard to find someone truly familiar with Deva Cuts here... Lissa was AMAZING... her scalp massage technique is phenomenal, she cut my hair dry (and I"m a wavy 2, which is sometimes harder, being in=between) and gave it some style, then washed and massaged, and then styled. She was familiar with TONS of hair tips, and even gifted me with some of the special clips to add volume while drying. I will definitely be going back, even though I live in Dallas, which is NOT close to Ft. Worth!!!
