I recently moved back into Michigan and am so glad I can go back to Serendipity! Renay really knows her stuff when it comes to curly hair and I trust her guidance completely. I went in for a cut and color and the process was an enjoyable one. She even offers tea with a view of the the water from the salon. If you're in the area I highly recommend Serendipity!

Love how Renae works with my daughters' hair (3C and 4C). She cuts it free so they can wear it in a natural afro. She shapes it so well. However, makes sure the lengths also work for braids and twists. My daughters love her and she makes them feel so good about their hair. Her salon is now a quick 20 minute drive north of Ann Arbor in Whitmore Lake with parking:)

Renay truly is the "curl whisperer!" She has tons of knowledge to share about curly hair and how to care for it (and doesn't push expensive products on you like some curly hair salons I've been to). She knew exactly how to cut my hair to flatter my features, and is a wonderfully friendly and sassy person to spend time with too! She's a true gem and I'll definitely be back!

No one else has ever made my hair look better by cutting it. I use to get my hair cut a couple months before an event so it would have time to grow out and look better. sometimes having to cut it myself to help it along. Thank goodness for Renay!

I cannot sing enough praises about Renae and her salon. I had very thick, damaged, 3C hair past my shoulders and Renae helped me with a Big chop to a short taper that I love. The style has only gotten better with time. Renae is experienced with all hair types and her salon is clean and in a beautiful location. She has the motto of being a tailor for your hair so I love thought that if something isn't right she will work it till it is. Beyond that she is extremely friendly and hilarious. I'm looking forward to my next cut.

I can't say enough about this place and Renae. From my first visit and until now the service continues to be AMAZING. Renae is just so SWEET and treats her clients as if they are the only ones there. She cares beyond just cutting your hair. I can see it in her eyes that she is so passionate as what she does and it really does show. Her hair cuts are just WOW. I have never loved my curls as much as I do now thanks to her. She is very precise and will listen to exactly what you want.
If you want a GREAT hair cut and an AMAZING salon you need to come see Renae. Like I said I can't say enough about this place.
