Deena was wonderful. Having such curly hair, I have been terrified of haircuts my whole life, because they never fixed my issue with split ends, because I always ended up with a weird shelf layer of short curls, and because they just never made me feel better. Not getting hair cuts was also hard because I just didn't know what was right for my hair and you can never count on advice from Google. Deena gave me a great haircut, was sweet the whole time, made me feel comfortable and safe, and was so happy to answer all my questions that I wasn't embarassed to ask them. She gave me so much advice, I probably don't have room here to type it. My curls are so grateful and springy! I lost a lot of inches, but only due to the deep conditioning - they sucked up all the moisture and shrank, but I'm glad to know now that my hair is damage free and will actually grow out normally and nicely!

amazing!!! My hair has always been ratty and dry and the curls never held until Sammy cut my hair!!! She cut my hair to a perfect length with great and balanced layers. She washed my hair using Deva products and she explained exactly what she was doing throughout the entire process. She showed me how to manage my hair at home. My curls have reached their fullest potential- I never imagined my hair looking this way!! All my thanks to Sammy for doing such an awesome job!

Had my first trip to Curl for a consultation with Teresa! She encouraged me to stay and have my hair washed and diffused by Tori so I have an idea on how to use the products. Gals... my curls have never looked so good! It was complicated, I'm not going to lie. But the instruction I received during the process and in an email I received when I got home was so helpful! They really want to help you get a salon quality style at home! Going back in a week for my first DevaCut and I CAN. NOT. WAIT!

I was so thrilled to find this salon and stylist. Sammy was amazing. I've gotten used to having to tell stylists from the start, and then several times during a session, that I do not want my hair blown out straight. Usually that works out but I am rarely happy with the way it is styled so I end up washing it when I get home and styling it as best I can. This was such a different experience. Because the salon specializes in curly hair, it is not assumed that you want your hair straightened (although I''m sure if that is what you want, they are quite capable). When I told Sammy that the curl I went in with was the most I could ever get out of my hair, she promised that I could get a lot more. And she was right. To start, by cutting my hair dry, she was able to be guided by the natural tendencies of my hair, rather than trying to cut straight lines in wet hair. After that, she shampooed and conditioned my hair, and styled it with very little product. The result was amazing. In addition, she explained in detail how to properly wash and style my hair, and followed up with emailed instructions. Absolutely the best salon experience I have ever had. And not only is Sammy very skilled and competent, she is a sweet person as well.

I had already been a CurlyGirl for a year before visiting Teresa. I thought I'd learned a lot, and I had - but let me tell you, my visit to Teresa's was TRANSFORMATIONAL! I've never loved my hair as much, or left a salon feeling as beautiful. Go visit and see for yourself. It's like being trained by a Jedi Master. You owe it to yourself, and to your curls. I'm a 2A / 2B, and I left with a mass of glossy beautiful waves AND curls.

My hair is extremely dry and damaged from over processing and chemical straightening. I really appreciate that Teresa didn't suggest to cut off all my hair, which I expected because of how badly it is damaged. Instead she did a deep conditioning treatment and suggested I let my hair grow. Teresa spent a lot of time with me explaining everything she did and made sure I understood how to care for my curls. She even sent a follow up email with detailed instructions. I couldn't believe how great my hair looked when I left the salon. The color was beautiful and my curls looked great! I have been fighting a losing battle with my curly hair and this was the first time I ever thought my curls actually looked pretty. It is amazing what Teresa's knowledge and the right products can do! Teresa has a customer for life and I'm excited to finally embrace my curls! Thanks so much!
