Default How far ahead do you send out invitations for an event?

This is for a birthday
I'm torn b/w 3 or 2 weeks.

If it's in November or December, I'd go with three weeks. People book up fast this time of year.

I do 3, just because I don't trust the mail and I would hate for the invite to arrive just a week in advance.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

I agree with atleast 3 weeks, longer if during a major holiday or if RSVPs are to be mailed back to you.

Around 3 weeks. I set my RSVP date 1 week out so that gives them two weeks to think about it.

For a child's birthday? About 2 weeks.

For an adult birthday, between 3 weeks and a month.
