Obviously I can't vote, but I am counting down the days until those stupid election ads stop running. I'll also be glad when those recordings stop calling - we get 5 or 6 a day!

Only 4 more years!
Until then, I'm voting in the Student Council Elections at school. The e-mails I've been getting from the candidates have been just as bad as the ones on TV for the real elections.

Ugh, so you get a double dose of political ads!

I'm glad that I went to cell phone only. No recorded phone calls.

I will be voting tomorrow. We have a big US Senate race (Lamont vs. Lieberman) and the incumbent representative in my district is in a real tight race with his opponent, so I will vote to try and oust him.

Don't we all
Agreed. I'm going to have to shampoo the carpet in my living room on Wed. So much mud has been slung I'm afraid it's going to rot the carpet under my television :P . We've got a gubernatorial (sp?) election tomorrow too (South Carolina, with a horrible incumbent running, once voted worst governor, don't get me started.), as well as the other Constitutional offices, and, of course, just to add to all the drama, a vote on a marriage amendment.

It's gotten pretty ugly here, lately.

ETA: Yes, I will be voting tomorrow. Forgot that's why I was posting in the first place.

Yup, we both will.

I'll do anything to help Deval Patrick win the race. And I hope when he gets into office he employs Grace Ross b/c I think she has some great ideas.

A very very very long time ago. You can hardly even understand what she says with her speech in such poor state.
I wondered if you would know who I was talking about For her own health she should retire! I do like Lugar though, and I had a bad dream about Melina K the other night

Melina K would give everyone nightmares lol. The principal at Kitley told me Julia was going to come there to talk to the kids sometime this year, I cracked a joke about her might not making it due to age and would the kids even understand what she said.....I don't think he found it to funny though lolol

I am a permanent absentee voter (that way I never skip an election), and I mailed my ballot this morning. I have to admit I skipped things on the ballot that I really didn't feel informed enought about to make an intelligent decision. California has too many darned ballot measures.

Yes. I've read up on the candidates in my district and while I dislike all or most of them for various reasons, I'm just going to choose the lesser of the two evils. Besides I can't B I T C H and moan if I don't vote.

I usually vote , but since I was gone this year, I didn't realize that absentee ballots had to be requested 60 days in advance. Also, we don't get regualr newspapers here or even political ads on TV. I honestly have no clue who was even running. i feel HORRIBLE about that adn very guilty to have not done my part. For teh next time, is ther ea certain website that is not biased towards either party so i can get a more accurate view of all candidates. I know If I did a search, i prob. wont get the most liable sources of news. Any suggestions?

If you have a Senate race, this quiz tries to give you your most compatible candidate. I ended up with the Green write-in guy, so I'll obviously lose.
