Not shoes, but I was amazed with Amazon.

About six months ago I ordered a Kindle, and it was at my door about 28 hours later.
I mean with customs for my country and everything. I couldn't beleive it.
I paid about 40 dlls for shipping and custom fees, but still...

HOW do they do it!? I can't go shopping and find what I want that fast. Free shipping and free returns can't be beat.
There's a little wormhole in their warehouse. I think Vitacost has one too.

Zappos was featured on "Sunday Morning" this morning and I literally had tears in my eyes watching it because it's a company that's very good to its employees, and it's proof that you can be really good to your ppl and still make a profit. I wish more companies would follow their lead.

I'll happily contribute to their profits and they contribute to my happiness If happiness can be found in a pair of shoes, and we all know it can.

I made an order on Friday and I should be getting it tomorrow, not bad! Usually when I order on Friday I don't get it until the middle or end of the coming week.

Doing *it* right?

Zappos carries like half a million different styles of shoes (and bags and clothes and glasses, etc.). So unless you have very specific or very unusual tastes, I would think you'd like something on there!

What I usually do is browse at the manufacturer's site and then see if I can find it on Zappos.

I'll pay up to $100 without thinking twice. Zappos has amazing customer service, and to me that trumps saving a few bucks. I've ordered a lot from them, and the one time I called with a complaint, they fixed it and upgraded me to vip- so I get free overnight all the time now.
I've been finding what I'm looking for in my size for a better price more often from Endless for the past year or more - in fact, I didn't even realize Zappos was collecting tax now

Still, they both have amazingly fast shipping, 365-day returns, excellent customer service, etc., so I'll continue to use them both - everything else being equal, Endless would win now because of the tax thing.

It's happened again. My hubby ordered running shoes around 4PM on Monday and had them by 5PM Tuesday. Voodoo, it has to be.

The wormhole strikes again.

From KY to CA in lightening fast speed.

I ordered yesterday around 1pm and they left Kentucky and should arrive in California today around 3pm.

Mama's gettin' a new pair of flip flops!

I used to use Zappos, but have switched to almost exclusively using Endless. Their search interface is just SO much better at Endless.

I don't know why anyone would ever shop in a real shoe store again. I can just filter for my size and price range, and browse just stuff that I KNOW I can have. It's amazing. And with the free shipping and free return shipping, sometimes I'll just order a couple pair, and return what I don't want.

Online shoe shopping really is amazing! In looking for wedding shoes I ordered probably 6 pairs before finding the ones I chose and never wasted any money on shipping. Between Zappos, Endless, 6pm, and DSW, you can find just about anything!

I love it for dress shoes that I won't wear often and for boots since I need a wide calf, and that's hard to find on the ground.

For work shoes, I still prefer my local specialty shop. I have arch issues and don't mess around with work shoes. I like getting fitted in person.

I got fitted for my walking shoes when DH went in for running shoes and I had no idea what a difference it could make! I definitely agree brick and mortar stores have their advantages.

I checked Endless and they have a few colors of the flip flops I ordered for a cheaper price so if I like these I know where to go for more.
