Zappos magic
 

Does Zappos have some kind of black magic or voodoo going on? Because I ordered two pair of shoes yesterday around 2pm and got them TODAY around 3pm.

HOW do they do it!? :lol: I can't go shopping and find what I want that fast. Free shipping and free returns can't be beat.

I know, aren't they awesome??? I love zappos.

Maybe they have a local distributor?

I'm assuming they have distribution centers all over and that's how it's so fast.

But, it's much more fun to think it's all some voodoo crazy shiz!

Even if they have a distribution center in the next-door apartment, I do not know how they do that, but it's like Christmas!

King Arthur Flour delivered my goods in basically less than 24 hours. Unreal. And yes, I was panicking about not having enough flour around by the time it would have arrived.

Saria, we went to the KAF store last year. *swoon* I can't even type out how much I spent. :lol: The dough whisk they sell is awesome, although I didn't buy it from them.

When I heard the UPS guy drop the box at the door I said to myself "Thank you, Santa." :lol:

Zappos is the best company ever. They are totally 100% on their ****. Fast. Accurate. Friendly. Funny. Helpful. They freaking searched ebay and 4 other sites for me while i waited on the phone when they were out of a pair of shoes I wanted. Unbelievable. And they upgraded me to VIP status. Love them!!!!:love5:

But I still love their lightning-fast shipping. Cold feet last winter? Next day, Uggs. Yippee!

I still think endless.com is better. I just ordered from Zappos for the first time because my beloved endless didn't have a pair of sandals I want.
Endless never charges for shipping, which is lightning fast as well. It is also always free to return.
What really gets me is that I just paid about $12 tax for my Zappos order, which I never have to pay with endless. Since endless is amazon (which I also love, since I just use my amazon account), no tax is ever charged.

Woah, TAX!! WTF. I hope I never move to any of these states. :lol: Zappos never charges for shipping though. I have tried Endless when I couldn't find what I wanted at Zappos and it took right at a week for my boots to arrive. :( Maybe it was a one time thing though. I always shop around anyway and go for whoever has the best deal. ;)

I get my endless orders with free two-day or overnight shipping (Zappos said I qualified for free 4-5 day shipping). The most I have waited for an endless order is maybe 4 days. My very first order with them I got a pretty generous discount as well.

And no tax ever!

I can't bring myself to purchase things from Zappos. It seems that almost everything stays right at retail price. :/

They are scary good huh? The first time SO ordered from them he thought I was lying when I said his order was here the next day.

I wanna go there and it's not even that far from me. I would have to go alone or drop SO at some drinking establishment because that would bore him silly. He puts up with a lot of shopping (and actually likes it) but cooking stuff does make his eyes roll up.

When you do go make sure to do it earlier in the day. They have goodies baked in store and we didn't get there until about 2 hours before closing and everything was GONE. :-| It was also on a weekend so that could have made a difference too.

Yep, that's the one. Also, if you're using a GPS to get there the address listed on their site will take you to the wrong place. So, make sure to take the directions they give on their website! We were out for a day trip and thankfully we drove around until we found it.

I've ordered from Endless and will again, but Zappos is my favorite...I don't even expect to get cheap shoes, because of my size (extra wide) I will never find a quality, comfortable pair for less than $50 and that's cheap. I'll pay up to $100 without thinking twice. Zappos has amazing customer service, and to me that trumps saving a few bucks. I've ordered a lot from them, and the one time I called with a complaint, they fixed it and upgraded me to vip- so I get free overnight all the time now.

I had heard so much talk about Zappos on the board, I just had to check them out.
I've been looking for a hard to find shoe..lo and behold, guess who had it!? Awesome! :laughing7:
It was a bit more than I wanted, but this isn't Payless :lol: And as hubby said, well, you can't find them, so... :dontknow:
Oh, and they only had 2 pair left :cool:
