What are you wearing today?

Repeat of yesterday just in different colors because it's even HAWTER (I spell it like that because I'm miserable and I CAN).

Green tank, brown shorts. I miss the central A/C we had in FL.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Whoah! TRBL, you're a cutie! You look like Katie Holmes before she started dressing like she's homeless.

Today it is an ankle length black a-line skirt
maroon sleeveless top, with a drapey neckline
black patent 'biker' flats (you know how biker boots have the three straps that connect with an O ring around the ankle? These shoes have that across the toe)
maroon & gold glass hummingbird earrings
hair is pulled slightly off my face with two small flower barretts, and it's actually kinda curly today

Grey and White striped long-sleeved AE tee
Black lacey cami
Black floaty, fluffy skirt (WITH POCKETS!!!!)
Mismatched socks
Black Converse low-tops

And I carried around my HOSA hoodie because some of my teachers seem to only be able to keep their air conditioner set at about 2....

And I have a pair of neon green soffe shorts on under my skirt because I'm a total klutz, and I would prefer that people don't see my flamingo undies....

Chocolate brown linen trousers
White top
Chocolate brown and white giraffe print jacket (really, cuter than it sounds)
Dress-code-violating sandals (bejeweled and leather...but technically of the flip flop variety. I just could NOT be bothered this morning. I figure they should just consider themselves lucky I'm here at all.)
Silver jewelry

Along with the sandals I posted upthread.

You're welcome, TRBL.

I post to enjoy everyone else's outfits, since I'm usually wearing stay-at-home-and-work-and-walk-dog-clothes.

Today's ensemble:

green striped tank top; ex-boyfriend's big black mystery fabric shorts (totally unflattering on me); little girl white socks, and velcro-close tennis shoes. No makeup; dirty bangs.

I think my arms look fat. No matter what I do, or how hard I work them, I never get any definition. It's a curse.

But I'm wearing a smile!

Dark fuschia shoes (very low kitten type heel)
Abalone shell maple leaf shaped earrings

Its 90 degrees here today, so being lightly dressed of a must. I went with an oldie but a goodie: a knee length three quarter sleeve shirtdress from H&M several years ago. Its black with a gold flowery Asian inspired print. It was supposed to come with a belt, but the belt was missing when I bought it
So I bought a gold sash to wear with it. The same Report black flats I've been wearing all week.
"And politically correct is the worst term, not just because it’s dismissive, but because it narrows down the whole social justice spectrum to this idea that it’s about being polite instead of about dismantling the oppressive social structure of power.
Fun Fact: When you actively avoid being “PC,” you’re not being forward-thinking or unique. You’re buying into systems of oppression that have existed since before you were even born, and you’re keeping those systems in place."
Stolen.
This a.m.: Capri running pants, white sports bra, red tank top, sneakers to work out. Now: Grey cargo capris with a dark grey AE t-shirt and flip flops to do my "mom" thing...I need to start posting pictures!
HG's:
Gel: BRHG mixed with Aura Naturalle Gel or B&A Gel
LI: GVP Conditioning Balm or Giovanni Smooth as Silk,
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (as a DC, before and after dying grays, and like a serum on dry hair)

Method: Air dry 20 minutes, then blow dry for volume.

2/3 mix waves/curls - coarse, frizz prone, med. thick, porous, at-home color for gray, protein sensitive but I still need it sometimes, glycerin-sensitive (I think) in high humidity, mod-CG routine.
