I did 2 world cruises, so was able to see a lot. The second was with Raddison and they stopped in all major cities for 3-4 days. We would just get a hotel downtown and do as much as we could in the couple of days.

I made some brilliant friends, pretty much covered for lodging for anywhere in the world I would want to travel

I love travel questions! We got to know the ports pretty well (some runs you would be in a place once a week for 8 months) so I've got tons of little known places that most tourists never see!

Food was ok. After the first couple of weeks you get to know what night what will be served, what to stay away from and what meals to never miss

I forgot about Vatican City, too!
