Allergic to the Christmas tree???
Is that even possible? We got our tree on Saturday, and I've had a MAJOR allergy attack ever since. Even Benedryl isn't taking the edge off. I'm going to work in about an hour or so, so I guess if it gets better I'll know for sure it's the tree. Merry effin' Christmas.
I've never heard about anyone being allergic to a Christmas tree. We havne't had one for the last bunch of years, so maybe it's something I've developed recently?

My mom is allergic to the tree so we have never been able to have a real one.

Oh crap! It's not lookin' good for our tree then. Maybe we can donate it to someone...There's no way I can deal with this for an entire month!

Yes, definitely possible - my brother and I have been allergic to the (real) Christmas trees my parents purchased in the past.
It stinks, but I guess fake trees aren't THAT bad.
I hope you can find something to do with the tree!

Douglas Fir. This is seriously the worst allergy attack I've had in some time. I feel like I have the flu, but I don't.

It is the most popular tree.
However, is there any way you can get ahold of a Leland Cypress?
Otherwise, looks like artifical would be the way to go.
There are lots of great lookin' fake ones out there.

Wait a sec!! I just realized - the allergy attack started Saturday MORNING, and we didn't get the tree until the afternoon! Hmmm...now I'm really confused. It's totally allergies though, and not a cold or something. It will be interesting to see what happens when I go to work.

Oh...wait another sec...the allergies must be making me stupid. The allergy attack started yesterday NOT Saturday ... so the tree is back on the **** list.

Rats for you!
My brother's family has had to have a fake tree ever since they determined both of his kids are allergic to real trees. And the same with a friend of mine.
I might just ignore my kids' allergies if it meant I had to have a plastic tree.

It's definitely possible. My little brother had an allergic reaction so bad he broke out in hives. My family had to switch to fake trees.
Sorry, Jess. I'm afraid things aren't looking too good for your tree. Get a fake one and then spray some evergreen house fragrance or something.

We have to use fake trees because my whole family is allergic (not that the fake is ideal, it catches dust so when it's time for it to come down, that's another allergy issue). It sucks, but there you go. There are some very real looking fakes, and some fakes that look SO fake that I love them. My brother's wife did a white tree with pink lights. It's SO OBNOXIOUS - I love it.

How's this for perfect - some friends of ours have a 6ft fake tree that they need to give away! So we're going to donate the real one somewhere and get a fake one we don't have to pay for! Yay. DH is working from home today so he'll take the allergy tree down and get it all vaccuumed up before I get home.

My sister is allergic to real trees. That's why we've always used artificial. Yay that it's all working out for you!
