"Miracle on 34th Street"

my favorite Christmas movie is on AMC for the next three nights. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to. I like it because it's not smaltzy and it's very funny. Santa is on trial. Well, not trial; they hold a lunacy hearing, but it's clever and heartwarming. Natalie Wood at the age of 6 or 7 years is in it and Santa (Edmund Gwinn) won an Oscar for his role.

Poo: KBB shampoo bar or Shikai moisturizing shampoo
CoWash: VO5 kiwi
Cond: Robert Craig, Tresemme Natural, or Fekkai Shea Butter
Leave in/Styling: Grapeseed oil, KBB milk, KCCC, and Aveda Confixor
I especially love this version over the remake with Dylan McDermott(or whoever he is). I watch It's a Wonderful Life every year as well. I also have a sick amount of Christmas specials on DVD and am considering joining Christmas Specials Anonymous
Oddly, the new version doesn't have the very last scene in the original which is the most important scene... I don't get it.

I have to say this is my least favorite "old" Christmas/holiday movie. I much prefer "Holiday Inn" and "White Christmas" and even that old chestnut "It's a Wonderful Life" over "Miracle on 34th Street".

I refuse to watch remakes of my favorite movies.

Thanks for the info. This is my favorite "classic" Christmas movie
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
It's cute the first time you see it...

It's been remade at least 5 or 6 times, about once each decade. But the original late 40's version with Maureen O'Hara is the best...back when divorce/single parent families weren't so de rigueur.
3b (with 3c tendencies) on modified CG

I'm watching it right now! I love Maureen O'Hara.
