Matte all the way

Glossy looks cheap and shows fingerprints more easily.

Matte for more serious or professional pics. Glossy for more fun ones like silly snapshots.

That's what I was thinking...especially the silly b-day or X-mas photos

Matte, I hate how glossy pictures get all sticky and covered in fingerprints.

DarkAngel, your baby santa is SO CUTE.

I'm ordering Christmas pics of the kids off of Snapfish and they're asking which I prefer. I'm putting them in a photocard.

I prefer matte, because it's easier to see the image when there's no glare all over it. It also looks more expensive (I don't know if it actually is...I haven't printed photos since I got a digital camera!), and seems easier to keep clean.

Thank you, DomincanaHeat.

Medussa, I think I did last year's photocards in matte, his birthday card in glossy, and this year's photocard is a metallic print. I have liked all of them. Your kids are so cute that no one is going to notice which type you go with.

I only develop in Matte if that helps.

Thanks, Darkangel. I just ordered the prints in matte.

Thanks to everyone else, for weighing in with your opinions.

Matte, they look more professional. Glossy looks cheap.
