You look great! We've missed you around here!

This is me today (I wasn't planning on taking a picture, so cut me some slack... Y'all have been tough on Britney's *fun pics* lately, so I'm paranoid about candid shots on here now - LOL! ) with my new hair cut:

My hair had been down to my jeans pockets before the cut, so it's a big change for me!

Way to go SISA!!!

We're all so glad that you're back around! Even if you're not posting up a storm, it's nice to know that you check in..

ETA: Since you asked, I am well and in a good place. I also managed to lose 25 lbs this year with better eating habits and regular exercise. I may lose about 10-15 more, to go back to my 19 year old weight/shape

Whoa, Sisa. You look amazing! Great job on your weight loss and your hair looks fabulous - much more curly
Sisa, you look beautiful. I agree with Matchless, you were gorgeous before. You have a healthful glow right now though.

Congratulations!! How much do you run, usually?
You are an evil biatch, evil. Your life must suck!

Thanks, though.

Honestly, I didn't even *hate myself* at my largest. I was cute when I needed to be. My overall health was slipping, however, so that was my main motivation to change. And having a waist smaller than my inseam again is cool, too, of course.

How are YOU? I just read something about you and the Vampire not being together, but still being friends, so I see I've missed some of your life!

Throughout the good weather, I was running about 5 - 7 miles every other day (I can't do every day if I want to do more than 2 - 3 miles, as I seem to be prone to injury...). Some days I'd do 3 1/2 if I was running short on time, and others I'd go 9 1/2 for long runs, but mainly 5 - 7 miles at a time.

Now that it's SNOWING here ( ), it's about 2.75 - 4.5 miles at a time. I wish it were more, but it's something, right?

Are you still running?

The Neurologist I went to says RSI for now... He did the EMG, but it returned *normal* results, so he could not diagnose CT, even though I have CT-like symptoms.

It's good to be back. I may not be able to post like I once did, but it's nice to commnunicate with the curlies once again.

The Vampire and I did end our relationship back in July. It's been very difficult for me, as well as for him. Apparently we were each other's first love. My heart is raw but healing. And it's the right decision.

In the meantime, I'm looking for a job that will help me beef up my savings so I can finally move out of Texas and up north somewhere, possibly Oregon. The goal is to get to Seattle.

I signed up for Spark People today. You've definitely inspired me and I'm thinking I can use all the resources I can find.

I've really missed you, Sisa. Probably this could have been a PM, but oh well. I'm happy to see you so happy and glowy. And I'm also sorry to hear about all the issues you're going through medically.

I just really heart you.

A marathon? PLEASE keep me posted on that - I love the idea, and I have toyed with it from time to time myself. If I weren't so prone to running injuries, I'd be on it. Perhaps as I stabilize my weight and get a good base training, I'll injure less, and be able to run more. A marathon would rock. I'm not built for speed, mind you, but just to finsh would be cool.

I just really heart you.

WOW!! I am so impressed, Sisa. You look amazing. As someone who has struggled with being overweight for the past 10 years, I know how hard it is. I've recently lost some weight too but have gained back a few with the holidays here.....your pictures have completely inspired me to get back in the game.

If a news story breaks and no one on the Internet comments, did it really happen?
MizKerri,

I especially know how hard it is, 'cause like you I have PCOS.

I had a lot of symptoms, and while they are not ALL better, some are. After not having a period for 10 or 11 months, I've had one every month since July! (Sorry if that's too much information... )

Don't worry too much about what you have gained back, in the sense of letting it keep you off track. Just decide NOW to change, and to adopt your healthiest eating and exercise practices, and you'll be back in no time! I found that thinking that I had already failed so I might as well just keep slipping farther and farther off track really hurt me. We can redeem time, and turn from poor choices at any time.

For example, last night I ate WAY too many roasted almonds in one sitting. This morning, I just ate a really heathly breakfast, and I've just now had a really healthy lunch, and I'm not letting myself get down because of one instance of poor planning. It's in the past. I am moving on...

And that's how I have had the most success.

So just do what you need to do, and if you make a wrong choice or two, make a good one next!
See now, aren't you glad I called you out and made you play!!!

We all love you!!!
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
