Default Bratwurst?

What's your favorite way to cook these?

I heard something about beer, steaming, then grilling.

TIA

I just pan fry them, or put them on the grill, and serve with a variety of mustards.

My uncle makes "super sauce"--beer, onions, ketchup--and simmers them in it. I can't remember if that's before or after grilling or pan-frying. However he does it, they're good.

I parboil them in a mixture of beer, onions and pickle relish (not very much of the relish, just a couple of spoonfuls). Then I finish them on the grill. Yum!

I like to just grill them.

We did the beer thing once, and it did give them a nice flavor, but I think they're just as tasty when gooked on the grill.

Just grilled or parboiled in beer and then grilled.

That's what my husband does, because I hate pickles in any form.
