Snow Day!

we've had snow squall warnings for the past few days.

my landlord shovelled twice yesterday - once at 7:30 am, once before i got home about 5:30.

Drew was in town, he had meetings here yesterday and today. he shovelled at 8:30 last night because it snowed a LOT after dinner. there was about 6 inches of new snow then...

this morning, we got up at 5:00 because he had to be out at the seminar site at 6:00 am.

he went to the door to look outside and came back with a strange look on his face.

i asked -

how much?

he told me to go look.

the snow was up to my waist!!!

in downtown London, we got over 3 feet of snow in less than 10 hours and it was falling from the sky in clumps!

so.... Sisa.... how much did you get?

The snow was only up to your waist because... YOU SHORT!

Seriously, though. It's going to be a white-washed Christmas if this keeps up!

I did run it in last night... So pretty, but my pace was up about 60 - 75 seconds per mile. Slogging along...

I wish we had some snow. My son was crying last night that he won't get to build Frosty the Snowman this year. This will be our first year since he was 2 that we won't have snow.

From now on, we'll have to make a trip to see and play in snow.
