I Love Boobies Bracelets

i don't see a problem with it. if it gets young people to be more aware of the disease and buy the stuff the that's more money going towards ending breast cancer.
i barely fill a 32B, but i rock my "i heart my little tatas" t-shirt from the "save the tatas" people with pride.

I don't like the save the tatas or I love boobies campaign to raise breast cancer awareness for most of the reasons stated above. Also, men do get breast cancer as well.

My mother is a survivor and I can tell you for sure, she fought for her life, not her "tatas". I lost a friend at the young age of 33 to a very aggressive form of breast cancer. She lost her "tatas" first and then the disease took her life. These campaigns trivialize a deadly disease, IMO.

I was born to be a pessimist. My blood type is B Negative.

Roseannadana & Spiderlash, I'm really sorry to hear your stories and I totally agree with both of you.
From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
I also resent the public fascination with breasts because as a small-chested woman (32A until last year, now 32B) I've been socialized to feel inadequate about my own.

I want to add that girls and women with large breasts tend to face a lot of sexual harassment aimed at their breasts. A lot of men really do see them as nothing more than walking sex toys, and this can lead to major body image issues. And don't forget that this can start as soon as a girl has developed large breasts, which could be around the age of 13. Plus, it's really difficult to find clothes that fit a figure like that.

Basically, unless you have medium-sized breasts, society will tell you that there's something wrong with your body.

I decided long ago to just embrace and celebrate them because they are part of me and my genetic inheritance. I treat them with love and respect and expect others to do the same.

Part of this is the need to assign a color with every cause. Breast cancer got pink which lends itself to a more female marketing scheme.

I did find this on the Save the Ta Ta's website, speaking of more male centric items.
I love my boobies and even more so now than before! I love everything about them including the big scar going across my breast! It reminds me of my struggle and what I have overcame! The same as far as my grandmother! Going from a D cup to barely an A cup! Looking at my breast/boobies everyday and knowing that I am a better ME because of them makes me love them MORE and MORE!! Breast cancer is serious but stated before when you have breast cancer you don't want a scary response to it! Soon as we found out about my lump, EVERYONE was acting like the world was ending(including my doctor)! I hated it! It's the scariest thing ever especially being pregnant! Having my grandmother there who had already been through it and was in good spirit helped! She would make funny comments and jokes every step of the way! It seriously helped!! I enjoy the campaign it makes me smile!

Its a fundraising campaign - if it works then great. Its not the tactic would appeal to me, but clearly they've done their market research.
