Show me your new Fall/Winter boots!

These are the boots I bought last year:

They're loose in the calf area. I envy all you thick-calved ladies. My calves are very scrawny and I've always wanted to build them up, with minimum results.
I'm still shopping around... But I LOVE so many of these boots - especially Jeep's. I just don't know if i can do the high boots... I think I'm more of a mid-calf kind of girl. Also, I kind of prefer a more brownish-red leather, which has been surprisingly difficult to find. Unless I want full out cowboy boots. Which I don't.

I took the liberty of inputting your specifications in polyvore.com's shopping search criteria. Assumed you may not want to spend more than $100. Here's what came up though you may want to play around with the criteria. I'm really tempted by the first pair.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
I usually always just wear black or grey boots. Brown only occassionally. So this year it will be these Tim's:

These ankle boots for 29 bucks!

These with leggins:

These with whatever...love high heel boots...

Jeep, love, love, LOVE those on you!!!

I have a question because I really want to buy some boots, but am I going to have to purchase new jeans too? The jeans I have and love are boot cut and no way are those going to tuck down into a taller boot, right?

Spring - those bootie things just make me laugh for some reason. They certainly aren't the ugliest thing I've ever seen but they just look silly!

Marah - that 2nd pair of boots! Oh my I love those! I love zippers (and buckles).

We're going on a little outing tomorrow and I just happened to have looked up the nearest DSW in the area we're going to in Mass. Maybe we'll have time to stop in so I can try on a few things.

I don't get why boots either have to be motorcycle or cowboy style this year. I want something more classic. It's a fine line. I like wearing boots with knee-length or longer skirts, but I want something that will make the overall look appear less art teacher-ish.

I ended up ordering these, but from Overstock for $99:

Of course, I'm having second thoughts already! But at least shipping was free, and I can always send them back if they don't work out. I do like that they're fairly sleek, but still warmly lined for the winter.

I'm also tempted by these, but in Spice (I hate that Endless doesn't let you link to pictures):

But I was looking for tall black boots, and these are neither.

I just got these from Target for $29.99!! So cute. They probably won't last through the season but at this price, it's ok.

Ugh. You guys gave me boot fever. : )
So I ended up getting these in black and brown. $33 each, free shipping, so at least that didn't hurt too much. Can't wait to get them.

I think I'm going to get these: http://www.amazon.com/Soft-Style-Wom...ecc_rvi_cart_1 I bought no less than 3 pairs of boots last year, but none of them work for me, at least not for the job I have now. I spend most of my days at work, and boots are so stuffy for all-day wear. These are sort of ugly, but they look lightweight and comfortable.

They are nicely made for the price. Don't know how long they'll last thru snow/slush/salt but my cheap boots from last year are still going strong.

Yikes. These boots, sandles, bandles, whatever they are give chains and studs a bad name.

Yikes! What are those?

BTW Jeep your new boots are awesome!
Dang it...found these and they so out of my price range. They look like the Soda ones PH posted but I adore the color of these. The Sodas are much more affordable though...hmmmm.

Here's the Macy's page for the Madden version. [The grey looks really dark, but it's really a medium grey.] The only thing with buying in-store is size selection — I had to compromise on that.

I'm going to see if my Famous Footwear has the Carlos Santanas too so I can try them on. Plus I have other stuff to pick up from the mall. I'd go today but it's raining and I have an outside mall. Thanks SoCal.

I'm having serious boot envy here. I love so many of your choices. Us curlies have some good taste.
