Default Unisex Christmas gift for office party?

Please help me out here people! My office party is on Tuesday and I have to get a present that is suitable for a man or woman for our gift exchange but I can't think of anything worth buying! Sure, I can think of some things that would suit either gender, but it's not anything either would really care to have. I could go the generic route and get a gift card, but I would rather get something more imaginative than that if I can. The limit is either $15 or $20. If you have any ideas please suggest away! Thanks!

I like to get something car/winter related. Lock deicers, windshield deicers, scrapers, that sort of thing.

People always appreciate it.

My DH always buys a bottle of liquor for their gift exchange, but he mainly works with men and maybe 3-4 women. What about a food gift set? Something along the lines of Pepperidge Farms or a set of different flavored coffee with mugs. As cheesy as this may sound we got a Craftsman cordless drill a couple years ago from DH's work gift exchange and we've used that thing so much.

LisaAnn's coasters, if she'll start making them. I think those would be awesome for my someone's desk at work, or at home!

I work at a school, so we can't bring alcohol, but I think a bottle of wine is a nice gift for those, and there's a thread here somewhere about nice choices that aren't too expensive. I started it, and the curlies were really good about giving suggestions. I don't drink wine, but hubby loved the info.

Speaking of a desk at work...what about one of those electric warmers for coffee cups? You could make a small basket up with that, a nice mug and some sample sized coffee.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Unfortunately liquor is already covered by my supervisor, that is her gift every year. I've thought about something car/winter related..I may do that. A handy household tool wouldn't be bad either. Keep the suggestions coming guys!

Dia, if you can find that similar thread you started and bump it I would be most appriciative! I tried but failed to find it.

Coffee, candy, cookies, mug, gift card to Target. Even if they can't use it, they can regift it and it will save them the hassle of getting something for a relative or acquaintance.

Like the car de-icer stuff, too!

Would a pair of movie tickets fall under the gift card category?

I like the deluxe car scraper (with the foam shovel on the end) idea. They make life a lot easier in a snow storm.

I work at a bank.

Good ideas guys, I think I'll be going to Target one of these days to weigh my options! Thanks again!

a pair of gloves or a scarf. it might not seem great, but once that winter hawk comes around, they'll be glad to remember that gift that you gave them!

At my old job, liquor was always the best unisex gift. There'd be about 20 bottles on a table full of 30 gifts. LOL.

A small Texas Hold'em poker set should do nicely. Complete with chips, cards, rules, dealer button. Very nice I would say.
