Default What are you getting your kids for Christmas?

Being that this is Tyson's second Christmas and he's only going to be 19 months come the big day, I've decided to get him one, nice toy. To be honest, he'll probably want to play with the box first anyway...but after he gets tired of that, I thought I'd like for him to have something that will help him learn a few things.

So, I saw the V.SMILE VTECH game for babies.....and I think I'm getting that and a few game cartridges to go with it. I'm actually looking forward to sitting on the floor with him and playing with it!

I thought about that v-tech thing but Xander hates TV. I guess I should keep it like that.

My mom is getting him everything ever invented so I'm not sure what to buy him. I know he would like some more bath toys and a tool bench. I feel like I should buy more but he still has toys in the packages. He doesn't need anymore clothes either. Oh well. Just means less money to spend now.

We already have a Thomas table, but the layout that we have is pretty lame so we got the big ol' setup like they have at B&N.

It's expensive, but they play on the train table every day so why not make it better? They'll get a couple more little things, but the train tracks are the biggie!

My kids are ten and 16. The ten year old is getting some girly stuff...clothes, earrings, lip gloss...Designer's World and Digi Makeover...new pjs, an MP3 player, a few movies and a few other odds and ends. My 16 year old is getting mostly music/instrument related stuff (books, cds and accessories)...a few clothing items...a couple of Weird Al cds, a new aquarium.

My daycare kids range in age from 1 - 8 and are getting some great stuff from us...a Magnadoodle, Magnetix, a baby doll, Dora bath set. I'm SO excited for Christmas!!!!

Same here. She's also getting a ring with her inital, two video games, a book and a pendant.

My son is four and has the V-Smile, really likes it a lot.

This year, he's getting the Fisher Price digital camera, and lil girl (will be 10.5 months at Christmas) isn't really getting anything from us...other relatives will be spoiling her, so we are holding off this year.

Girls are SO easy to buy for...she likes so much stuff! I forgot I also got her a pretty silver locket today.

Does your daughter have Dream Life? Mine got it last year and still plays with it! Money well spent!

Yes, She also got it last year. She'll play with it for a few days in a row then leave it for about a week or two then goes back to it again. I hear you on the easy to shop for comment. I was supposedly done with her things last week, but every time I go to the store I find something else I know she likes and end up getting it for her. I'm glad I'm totally done with my shopping because the more trips to the store I make, the more things she gets.

im having a hard time on what to get for my 5 snd 7 yo. they already have a dollhouse each. A kitchen set, baby dolls, fashion heads to comb hair. I have no friggin idea what to get these chicks

My 17 yo son wanted an ipod video. I told him if he got that at 250.oo then thats all he was gong to get and he was okay with that.

my 12 yo wants some Jordans, a baby phat jacket, and some outfits. The two oldest are easier than the two youngest

I don't blame you. I made the mistake of buying lots of gifts last year for Tyson and he was only about 8 months old. Most are still in the box in his room. I was actually thinking of wrapping some and putting them under the tree this year...
