Default Any Idea Why My Mouse Button Keeps Switching Sides?

Last night I'd go to left mouse click and it was if I was right clicking. So I went into my mouse functions and fixed it. It kept doing it. Finally I disconnect my mouse and I'm using my notebook mouse pad. But about every twenty minutes or so suddenly my left mouse click turns into right mouse click. I have to go to my control panel, switch it back, apply setting changes, etc.

Any idea WTF is going on and how to keep it the way it's supposed to be?

I'd start by updating the driver. Sounds like it's on your laptop, yes?

I ask because we have a KVM switch that'll do this at work on the PCs, thing can be a pain but until they decide to shell out the dough to replace it to a USB switch....

My laptop does this too.
It all started when i took it to
have a virus removed, and it hasn't
worked right since. Everytime i type i
have to pull up the notepad, type, and
then copy and paste. So annoying.

I downloaded the mouse drivers and that did the trick!

Good. I was going to ask if it's a 5 button mouse.
