Hedwig & Willow waiting for me to open a can of food. Except I'm not, they're just expecting it, NOW PLEASE!

It's a dark room so the pic didn't come out well. The redeye setting on this camera sucks too.

My dad's cat Sunny was crazy for cantaloupe. She would jump up on the table, stand guard over it and growl and hiss at anyone who came near.

My ex's dog Tory loved to be in the garden and whatever we were picking, she would pick too. Green beans, parsley, currents, blueberries. She especially loves green beans.

Here are a couple pics of one of my favorite neighborhood dogs. (Sorry for the crappy pics. They are from inside my house and across the street.) I don't get to see her often. Her 'dad' is a semi-homeless alcoholic who kind of wanders around town. She is chubby and clean and happy. And only has 3 legs. The left rear leg was amputated after she was hit by a car years ago. She is a doll.

I'm always surprised at how many homeless people seem to have pets, usually dogs. They often seem to care more them than for themselves. Like this one, the dogs look surpringly healthy and well-fed. A lot of people probably take as much pity on the dogs as on the men, probably more in a lot of cases.

On a brighter note, I couldn't resist sharing another Cute Dispute - both are cute as can be, but the kitten trying to get the dog's tongue (right) tickled me . Don't have to log into Facebook to view them.

Oh she is well fed. Actually a little overweight since she's gotten older. He loves her and she loves him. One day I came around the corner by my house and there he was, laying in the middle of the street, the dog standing loyally beside him. I blocked the road, jumped out and ran over to see what was up. He was just terribly drunk and had fallen down (and maybe decided to take a nap?). I got him back on his feet and the 3 of us made our way to the sidewalk. We sat for a bit and he got his bearings, apologized over and over again, and they made their way up the street.
I have many stories like that in my neighborhood. Makes life interesting.

No photo but Casey just skeered the bejesus out of himself. He stepped on his plate which then made a noise which caused him to jump and then step into his water bowl. Then there was much skittering across the floor.

I had a cat who loved hearts of palm out of the can. As soon as my mom opened a can and sat down he'd come running and they would share the can. Even more strange is that he wouldn't eat anything besides his dry food and hearts of palm. No tuna, no chicken, nothing. And only one brand of cat food. He would rather starve than eat any other brand. He was a funny thing.

Honest, if the dog looked unhealthy, dirty, flea bitten, abused, skinny or anything like that, I would do something about it. But she is a healthy happy super friendly dog. He is probably a better pet owner then many 'upstanding' citizens.

Oh, wow, totally different videos than when I posted that - didn't know they went totally away to be replaced by new ones. Guess not much point in trying to share any more unless you catch them quick.

Haha, I had a cat that loved marinated canned mushrooms. Cats are funny.

I certainly believe that (says she who gets ***** for having indoor pibbles by people who let their dogs roam freely).
