Excellent use of Girl Scout cookies!

Isn't there a website where people post pictures of how much they can pile on their pets? Or am I making that up...

Yeah. After that, we got a pencil bag on her, but then she rolled over.

I've had a wild cat stopping by every once in awhile for the last couple years. Last night she decided the rug on the front porch was a perfect place for a nap. : )

Heidi is snoring as loudly as DH does. Between the two of them, and the cat, who frequently insists in giving himself a bath while laying across my back, it's a wonder I get any sleep at all...

The SO & I were out & about on Wed, he was driving, and I saw a white squirrel with red legs & tail. I told him, OMG did you see that, etc, etc. Of course I was accused of being drunk so I made him turn around. We got a picture. He/she seemed somewhat domesticated.

I've seen those multi-colored squirrels here, too! I think there's some mutation going around the squirrel world.

That's a normal (but rare or uncommon, depending upon the animal) mutation. It's some form of leucism (lack of pigment, but not albino). You probably just see it more because of lack of predators.

ETA: I say uncommon because in the pet industry some people breed those on purpose. But in the wild it's rare because they are easily spotted by predators, so they usually don't live long.

Love the multi-colored squirrel! We have black squirrels here in certain areas of PA and Claudine you have them over in your area too.

I love seeing animal mutations. We have quite a few piebald deer around here. They are always a little odd looking, stumpier and chunkier than regular deer.

^^
My kitteh does that too. I know exactly how long to rub her tummy until she's had enough. Less than three seconds I think. I can't help but rub her tummy even though I know she hates it. She is always leaving it exposed.

Ed is so cute. I want to smother him with kisses. I like the motion of his tail in the picture.

RIP Jessie, my brother's sweet pup. She was a good dog.

She was getting so old and feeble. Every time I went home to Australia, I wondered if it was the last time I would see her. These are some pics from my last visit.
