I would do a "super duper extra like" for Jasper if I could.
(Not that I wouldn't for everyone else, too.)

OH speaking of dogs in life vests! This is George, my parents Corgi - he recently had a little procedure done near his booty. Rather than putting him in a cone (he will NOT walk in the cone, he'll flop on the floor and will. not. move.), they put a life vest on him so that he can walk freely. The vest is firm enough so that he cant bend far enough to nibble on his bum, but theres plenty of room for the bandage. I call him the Barking Banana:

And that is a fabulous idea to avoid the cone!

I am amazed at this dog sometimes. He had a fist full of hair and tugged on her ear (obviously, he was corrected and will be corrected and she didn't even move.

First, HOW did your little one get to be so big?!!
Second, there is something amazing about labs and goldens, they just know exactly how to be with babies and small children. They know how to respond to all the little quirks kids have and when to step away. More importantly, they rarely need to step away because they know it's their job to be there for the little one. My SIL had a lab that had been mistreated as a pup and young dog. He was impatient with adults, and later in life, was a hazard, he eventually couldn't be in a crowd of family, but when my kids were little, they could do no wrong. It was his job to allow them to crawl all over him, touch his things and use him as a pillow. I am very grateful that they were little when he was able to see and give the the very best of his breed!

Heidi has no idea that she is not the right size for the cat bed. I'm not sure that she knows that she isn't a cat:
Similiar pose, without the cat bed, and taken four years ago, right after we brought her home. I miss my baby!

Claude fell in the lake today. I always knew it would happen some day.
What I didn't know was how filthy and smelly he'd be afterward.
Pee-yoo.

I don't know how he got to be so big, but I do know that
he needs to stop! I have new pics of both kids that I plan to post sometime soon.
That pics was taken while we were eating dinner. I had put the baby in the floor and the dog came and laid down right there in front of him. I don't think she feels right unless she has a kid on her.

My uncle's cat, Buddy. He's still a kitten but is getting so big and has huge feet. He is still very crazy and bad (and very entertaining for my uncle who is in a wheelchair).
