Only 6 I'm so sorry. I know whow awful losing an animal is.
Clyde is 7 and already greying. It's so cute because he still has so many puppy qualities. I wish I had the pics from when he was a puppy to show you all. We got him when DS was 7 months old so they've grown up together. They definitely have an "a boy and his dog" thing going on.

Introducing the newest member of the solidgold family: Schnickelfritz! He's a 5 month old Cornish Rex and a super sweetie. The 11 year old cranky female is not happy about it.

solidgold, he's so cute! I'll have to show this to my husband, he's ALWAYS wanted a cornish rex. I cat-sat for a friend of mine that had one and DH fell in love with him (he drove me nuts! lol). His name was Mookie and he really was adorable.

If I may just gush for a minute, he's awesome. My BF and I fell in love with the breed a few years ago when we met a colleague's cat, and have been talking about getting one... holding off because I have such a cranky older cat who is used to being the only one in the house... and then we decided to do it. We brought him home Monday and we're all still adjusting to having a new kitten. We're learning his patterns and personality. He loves to play fetch and cuddle. He walks around yowling until he can find a human body part to curl up in at all hours of the day and night. He's also a gassy little cabbage. We love him!

Soooo cute! Are all cats' ears that big or do they just look super huge because of his short fur??
Corona yesterday, chilling on his favorite chair:

He evokes bat, rat, and rabbit more than cat!
One of the reasons we wanted a Rex was because of the curls! We actually may have to wash him because Rexes only have that curly undercoat, no over coat, and they don't get rid of their natural oils the same way furry cats do. So, a gentle low poo may be in order!
Yeah, there has not been a whole lot of sleep for the past few nights.

Rexes have very large ears. Schnickel's seem especially large to me.
Corona's leg is so funny! He's saying, this is my chair. All of it.

Kitty update! They are 4 weeks old now and so stinking cute! They have left their box and are starting to explore. I love watching them wobble all around. Momma cat, however, does not. She's constantly trying to herd them together. They are also all very snuggly and want to be around us. I love social kitties.
They were all looking at me. I'm sure that will never happen again.
My little girl...still no name
This girl is everyone's favorite as she loves snuggles the most. They are trying soooo hard to convince me to keep her too, oy.

I will love him, and hug him and name him George.
I still wants a kitteh!
If the fam didn't like Tikki, what about Tavi? I think I like Tavi better actually.
Or I could just nod my head and walk slowly toward the cake.

I always like the name Moxie for a kitteh.

Ooooh babies! I love their blue eyes. So much cuteness!
Looking at Corona's photos brings the thought of Austin Powers doing his photography. That or Ru Paul's song "You Better Work".
