Must be making the bed again. Veronica isn't a very good helper.

More pics of the world's most spoiled cats. Honestly, the house has cat toys, big and small, all over the place. Mr Harley is like a crazy cat lady, only he's a man. hahaha.

Veronica is gorgeous, I've got a thing for calicoes too. My mom had one when I was born and she was my cat and very protective of me. She was such a sweet, sweet girl.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Do you see why I refuse to give in or give up on these dogs, despite all the social pressure there is to do so?
Thank you for posting that. She's on my blog today.
I am now going to clean the tear smears off my glasses.

Oh, yes, I do - they're as likely to be sweet babies as any other dog given the right, humane treatment.
Did you notice that their pet of the day was also another pit bull rescue?

Such beautiful kitties! I am a sucker for calicoes too. My first kitty from childhood was one.
Well its not exactly a happy story. I had two dogs and two cats at the time and had to keep the cats and dogs separate as one dog was aggressive toward cats. I had a good routine down that kept the peace and everyone was happy. The cats would roam free and one dog was tied up in the yard and the other crated while my husband and I were at work and then when we came home we would keep the cats in the laundry room where they had all their stuff and the dogs could roam around the house. Well one day while at work, the aggressive-towards-cat dog managed to get off his lead outside and bust through my back door while the cats were around and attacked one of them. When I came home I found Camilla terrified hiding on top of the cabinets where she always slept. There were claw marks on the wall where the dog tried to get her but couldn't reach. Needless to say it took quite awhile for Camilla to get the courage to come down and we gave away the dog a short time later, which did kind of make me sad because he was so good natured with people. Although Camilla was unscathed my other cat was not as lucky.

Thank you - she is a very pretty cat. Unfortunately it often goes unnoticed BC she's picked on for being fat and lazy. Poor kitty.
My calicos are the sweetest, easiest cats I've had.
I would like to have an orange kitty, and a ragdoll, at some point.
If it wasn't for other people in my life, I'd easily have 6 cats.

my kitties like being high up as well. My younger one likes to get up on top of the dryer (stackable). And they both like to sit high in the windows.

I miss having a kitty or two. My DH is so allergic we just cant do it. My dog doesn't mind cats at all. Our vet has several cats that roam around his property and theres always one laying by the front door. Penny walks over, sniffs it and tries to get the cat to play, which of course the cat could not be more uninterested in. The cat usually ends up just walking away or ignores the dog completely. Poor Penny. She tries.

How HORRIFIC. I'm sorry. I don't know what I would do if my dog attacked my kitties. That's just so terrible to go through. Poor kitties

It was a sad situation. But Camilla has been with us for 15 wonderful years. She has been the best cat and traveled everywhere with us and for that I am very grateful!

Look at this dog:
I'm browsing a local rescue site and came across this beautiful girl. Shes a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix and I'm awestruck by her markings! What a cutie!
