I don't believe in docking anyway but that poor puppy! Ugh. What a disgusting shame.

I also don't declaw my cats. Furniture is furniture. My cats are living things. My dogs have done more damage to my couches than my cats ever have.

It seems that declawed cats can become more aggressive and become biters as well. Buddy's previous owners wanted to get him declawed, but they were told he was too old. I'm glad. He still has 9 1/8 of his claws. The other is slowly growing back.

I saw this story too and I cried. I cry more about animals than people. I probably need a lot of therapy, but I like to look at it as "people suck, animals love unconditionally". :-)

Buddy has his night routine when I get in bed. He gets in, gets a treat, checks the window for a few minutes, checks the headboard, head butts me for some petting, and then settles in the corner.

They are too cute!!! My first dog was a solid white German Shepard and her name was Fefe so everytime I see your avatar, I smile My father had a sense of humor. He'd call the dog and everyone would think she'd be a little tiny prissy dog, but no, here would come a lumbering giant that seemed to enjoy her name as much as my dad did!
lol awww that's cute. My first dog was a all black chow chow with blue eyes his name was velvet, we were born on the same day and he was very protective of me and my parents.
