RCC, did she deal with going to the vet ok?

Byron,GA> Charleston, SC> Jacksonville, FL> Guilford, CT> Rohnert Park, CA! A southern drawl in sunny Cali! .
The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.
I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places. ~ninja dog
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
She didn't like the blood draw and shots, but she did well, otherwise. The vet thinks she's 10-16 months old.

They want to re check Buddy for FIV/leukemia. The vet that saw him for his paw wound didn't draw labs, and the main vet wants to be safe. He's been immunized during his shelter days, but you never know.

The family in the next exam room must have had a dying kitty. The couple came out crying, and the vet tech that came in was crying too. It made me teary eyed. Poor kitty.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
I'm glad she didn't give you any major fits.

That is so sad. That poor couple.

Yeah. I felt so badly for them.

Lily is fine walking around the apartment like nothing happened.

Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
My Charlie has red 'danger' marks all over his chart. I can't even be in the room.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using CurlTalk App
When Ed was being 'done' the vet had to wear armour.

Lily's FIV and leukemia tests came back negative. Yay!

She goes back in three weeks for a booster on distemper and another deworm. Buddy is due for his yearly shots in January, so it'll be one big trip.

Poor Kitty parents. So sad I know I'd be crying like a little baby too. My babies are so precious to me.

So I have been down with the flu and been working from home (thank goodness for telecommute!). Here's Brandi helping me with my work.

Ed and his tree.

Brandi looks awesome. I love tuxedo kitties.

I'd be a wreck too if I was the kitty couple.

It makes me teary eyed just thinking about being in that position. Those poor kitty parents. Glad to hear Lily is healthy though

Luvz Ed and Brandi.

I am glad Camilla is pretty calm at the vet. She is a frozen statue most of the time.

I had to take Chui and Brandi to get their shots last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how well they did! Granted it was quiet, there were no other pets and very few people, they were troopers! I love them
Oh, Lily weighs about 7.5 pounds, which shocked me. She feels like she weighs two pounds. I guess I'm more used to Buddy's bulk. I wonder what he weighs now.

Awww Brandi kitteh is so helpful! Although if she is "helpful" in the way that my Duke is helpful when I work from home, that means mostly hogging the keyboard, pushing random buttons with paws, and generally being a PITA! LOL. Good thing they are so darn cute!!!

Yay, I'm glad Lily got the all-clear! Have you tried the wet papertowel? I'm just curious to see if it works on older kittehs.

I did, but she likes water. Goofball.

She's better, but not yet as meticulous as Buddy.

There's a cat only groomer nearby. It probably wouldn't hurt to take her. The rates are reasonable and Lily isn't averse to water and people touching her paws. The groomer always has longhair cat pics.

Buddy probably wouldn't want any part of that, though it wouldn't hurt him, either. The groomer has mini sessions for a cat like him.

Here's a Maine Coon before and after that she did
