claudine, my mailman just showed me pics of his 2 new puppies - 12 week old black standard poodles. Oh my gosh they are so handsome.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Sorry, he was behind schedule and just flashed the pics at me real quick because he knows I love animals so I didn't have a chance to take a pic of the pics.
They are such a funny choice for a guy who lives in the country and is a hunter and outdoorsman. His last dog was a toy poodle which is ever funnier. But he and his wife and kids just like poodles. : )

They're extremely lovable and entertaining. Irving (one of my past poodles) was a court jester. I'm glad I still have access to one.

The new "kitty korner" is a hit for 1 of 2 kitties so far. I'm shocked since neither of mine have cared one bit about the fuzzy kitty bed they've had forever. I think the enclosed space appeals more to my expert under-the-bed hiders.

We just got home this afternoon from a trip down to Baton Rouge. My husband just had to get this when we stopped at a gas station on the way down there.

That's one tolerant cat!

They do call Maine Coons 'gentle giants'.

I'm sort if surprised the baby didn't get scratched. He got rough a few times with ear & tail pulling and stomach squashing.

Yes. All that and not one hiss. Instead the baby got paw pats, kitty kisses and licks. WOW!!!!

And holy moly Apollo is a giant fluff ball!!!

Poodles are very bright too! My exhusband's grandmother had one and he was the sweetest and smartest doggie ever. He had black curly hair and I just adored him and the task of bathing him was transferred to me. We had some watery fun! He wasn't the huge kind or the tiny kind; he probably weighed 25 pounds. I miss him!
